Flux-Geräte GmbH, the Maulbronn pump specialist, introduces its newest energy-efficient pump, the air-operated diaphragm (AOD) pump FDM 07. The AOD pump excels because of its low air consumption and high flow rate, which is unique for a pump of such a small size. For these reasons, the FDM 07 is popular with numerous applications across a broad spectrum of industrial and service companies.

The self-priming air-operated diaphragm pump is easy to use, making it a great choice for many industries. Laundries and car washes make use of this diaphragm pump because surfactant mixtures are easily and conveniently metered. Finishing operations prefer this pump because they are especially effective at circulating and filtering in machines that process additives.

During the pumping process, this pump boasts a maximum flow rate of up to 20l per minute in conjunction with its low air-consumption, which ultimately provides maximum efficiency. Contaminated media containing solids of up to 1.6 millimeters in size can be pumped without any problems. The suction and pressure connections of the new design each have a hybrid internal thread (¼ NPTF, G ¼) and a ¾ NPTF external thread which allows the pump to be easily installed into existing processes and pipes. The Acetal conductive version is even certified to Atex Directive 94/9 EC for use in explosion-hazard areas. The adapter plate from the preceding model FDM 06 can be replaced with the new FDM 07 air operated diaphragm pump, making it an easy switch for existing Flux-Geräte GmbH customers.

The new design ensures oil-free running so that no servicing unit is necessary and the patented air valve offers 100% sure start-up from any position. No oil mist is created, resulting in healthier working conditions, and an integrated silencer minimizes the generation of noise at the air outlet, thereby substantially reducing the noise level in the workplace.
