Fuji Electric Corp. of America, an expert in electronics manufacturing and pioneers of cutting-edge energy technology, has announced the release of its next generation compact drive called the FRENIC-Mini Drive (C2). This new addition expands its portfolio of low-voltage inverters in the North American market. The FRENIC-Mini Drive was created as a new model to replace the existing FRENIC-Mini. The new compact inverter is the same size and footprint as the existing products, but it offers customers a wide range of additional features, in addition to improved functionality. The FRENIC-Mini Drive is available now for shipment to customers throughout North America. Although this product focuses on the needs of customers located throughout North America, Fuji Electric Corp. of America offers products all over the world with offices in Japan, Europe, China, America, and Asia.

“The FRENIC-Mini Series has been well received by our customers around the world due to its compact size and ease of operation,” says Thomas Bopp, Fuji Electric’s General Manager of AC drives, ring compressors, and HMI displays. “The series has undergone a full model change in order to achieve the same level of control and performance seen in more advanced models, making it suitable for a broader range of products.”

Fuji Electric’s FRENIC-Mini Series is able to provide excellent and dependable performance for a wide range of applications, including single-phase and three-phase applications. The compact inverter is available in multiple configurations that are able to support 1/8 HP up to 20 HP AC drives / variable frequency drives (VFD) / v/ Hz vector drives. Because it comes in an expanded range of rated voltages, depending on the customer’s needs, the new FRENIC-Mini is able to offer both reasonable prices and high-quality performance, which makes it the ideal product to enjoy rapid growth in the North American market.
