NOV Mono is a global leader in the design and manufacture of progressing cavity pumps, grinders, screens and packaged systems. The company recently completed its acquisition of the Robbins and Myers business as part of its greater plan to expand in the European market.

“Europe offers enormous potential for the various products in our newly extended portfolio, and we are expanding our teams and our capabilities so that we can exploit that potential to the full,” says European Sales Manager, Ian Horton.

The company has already been successful in Germany and points to this as a roadmap for future success. “We have expanded our presence in Germany with the aim of increasing the level of service we provide to our customers there. This includes appointing new Area Sales Managers, and signing new commercial agreements with independent distributors such as Walter Fiedler and Würdig Pumpentechnik, who now represent us in separate areas of the German water and wastewater market. However we are not finished yet. We’re currently recruiting to expand our sales force, in Germany and other territories, with a view to providing our customers with even better support.”

Mono has also made changes to the supply chain for its range of Mono Universal Parts in France, which has reduced turnaround times, equipment downtime and customer spares inventories. The NOV Mono France office now also provides the company’s EZStripTM products, including the EZstrip Transfer Pump, EZstrip Cake Pump and the EZstrip TR Muncher.

“Our aim is to make it even easier for our French customers to access the wealth of expertise and industry experience that lies behind both the EZstrip range and the Mono business as a whole,” says Horton.

Mono’s new structure offers its European customers an increased range of products and services that include progressing cavity pumps, grinders, screens, mixers and a variety of other associated technologies designed to meet the needs of the world’s process industries. The company plans to expand more in the future, confident in the success of this most recent expansion in Europe.
