Sulzer Pumps has opened a new service center for configured pumps, mixer, agitators, and aeration systems in Nova Lima, Brazil. This new service center allows the company to better serve customers in the growing markets of wastewater, mining, general industry and agro-industry of Southeastern, Northern, and Central Western Brazil.

The new pump center is located in the heavy mining region of Minas Gerais, which will enable Sulzer Pumps to expand its selection of dewatering pumps and other wastewater solutions. The facility operates in close collaboration with Sulzer Pumps’ Curitiba manufacturing facility in Southern Brazil to provide repairs, refurbishments, and spare parts for submersible and process pumps, along with other rotating equipment. Both Sulzer Pumps and other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) products qualify for service at this location.

A wide variety of services are available at this location, including: field services, long term maintenance contracts, modernization projects and upgrades to provide customers a fast and efficient support. Rentals for dewatering pumps and related accessories are also available for short-term use. As a result of the services provided by the Nova Lima facility, Sulzer Pump customers will benefit from energy efficiency, increased reliability, cost savings, and extended maintenance cycles.

Sulzer Pumps has had a presence in Brazil since 1948; it currently has two manufacturing facilities and four service centers in the country.
